About the role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Telemarketer to join our Sales team on a part-time basis in the Central Region. This role is pivotal in driving our outbound sales initiatives and expanding our customer base through direct customer engagement. As a Telemarketer, you will be responsible for making outbound calls to prospective clients, presenting our products and services, and converting leads into sales opportunities. This position offers the flexibility of part-time work whilst contributing significantly to our sales objectives and company growth.

What you'll be doing

• Making outbound calls to prospective customers following a structured calling schedule and sales script
• Presenting products and services in a persuasive and professional manner to generate customer interest
• Qualifying leads and identifying customer needs to determine product or service suitability
• Recording and documenting all customer interactions, call outcomes, and sales data accurately in the company system
• Following up with interested prospects to nurture leads and move them through the sales pipeline
• Meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets and key performance indicators
• Maintaining a positive and professional attitude whilst handling customer objections and rejection
• Collaborating with the sales team to share insights and best practices for improving sales performance
• Adhering to all relevant compliance, data protection, and regulatory requirements during customer interactions

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in outbound telemarketing, sales, or a related customer service role
• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively
• Strong listening skills and the ability to understand customer needs and concerns
• Resilience and persistence in handling objections and rejection whilst maintaining motivation
• Proficiency in using telephone systems, CRM software, and computer applications
• Ability to work independently whilst meeting strict targets and deadlines
• Organisational skills and attention to detail when documenting customer information
