Telemarketer – Industrial Sales

Lusida Rubber Products, Inc. is a manufacturer of custom rubber, plastic, and metal components with many ongoing projects in many industries.

We are seeking a motivated, persistent outbound telemarketer to join our team on-site.

Working alongside senior sales professionals, you will drive initial contact, qualify prospective accounts, and introduce our manufacturing capabilities to purchasing agents and engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Outbound Prospecting: Conduct high-volume outbound calls to prospective business clients using industry directories, lead lists, and independent market research.
• Lead Qualification: Identify prospective clients' needs for custom rubber, plastic, and metal parts, qualifying lead potential before routing to senior account managers.
• Database & Campaign Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to clean, update, and expand contact lists and follow up on marketing-generated leads.
• Relationship Building: Initiate contact with potential and existing accounts to introduce capabilities, establish rapport, and schedule sales presentations or quote requests.
• Pipeline Tracking: Maintain accurate phone logs, call outcomes, and follow-up schedules in our system.

Qualifications

• Phone Experience: Proven experience in telemarketing or cold calling.
• Tech Savvy: Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic CRM or phone systems.
• Strong Communication: Excellent spoken English, strong phone presence, active listening skills, and the ability to learn technical industry vocabulary quickly.
• Problem Solver: Confident handling objections, qualifying complex business needs, and finding creative ways to reach decision-makers.
