Duties
Interpret work orders to determine materials, equipment, and tools required.
Perform pre-installation site surveys.
Perform on site troubleshooting and repairs.
Hook up power source and conduct operational tests of installed system.
Climb poles and install service drop wire to buildings.

WG-08: Ability to do the work of a Telecommunications Mechanic Worker without more than normal supervision including periodic maintenance, repairs, tests, and clean adjust, lubricate, replaces components, etc.
WG-10: Ability to do the work of a Telecommunications Mechanic without more than normal supervision including site surveys; review and interpret work orders to determine materials, equipment, and tools; install and test lines and interior network cables, system components, etc.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
