About the role

Woodside Energy is seeking experienced Telecommunication Technicians to join the Digital Field Services team in Perth. This role supports offshore operational facilities through planned maintenance, break-fix support and project improvement activities across critical telecommunications infrastructure.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and execute telecommunications maintenance, break-fix and project support activities.
  • Provide technical SME support across offshore telecommunications infrastructure.
  • Support SAP PM and ServiceNow processes for maintenance, work orders and service delivery.
  • Coordinate resourcing, procurement and contractor support for Digital Field Services activities.
  • Participate in on-call and offshore support requirements, including a minimum expectation of approximately 65 offshore days per year.
  • Ensure work is delivered safely, in line with operational standards, service levels and change management processes.

Skills and Experience

  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology Communications or equivalent telecommunications qualification.
  • Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting telecommunications equipment in an operational environment.
  • Strong planning, scheduling and work execution capability.
  • Solid understanding of maintenance systems and processes, ideally SAP PM and ServiceNow.
  • Strong safety mindset and ability to work in a regulated, high-risk operational environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with internal teams, vendors and contractors
  • Highly Desirable Experience / Tickets:
  • Oil and gas, resources, offshore or heavy industrial experience.
  • Open Cabling Registration with endorsements.
  • WA Restricted Electrical Licence.
  • EEHA, Working at Heights, Elevated Work Platform and gas monitoring tickets.
  • BOSIET, CAEBS, MSIC, Senior First Aid and CPR/LV Rescue.
  • LROCP, AROC and Radiation Awareness.
  • Experience with quality assurance, configuration management, contractor management, ACMA licensing requirements, network infrastructure and virtual machine environments.
