About the role
The job of teacher assistant was established for the purpose of providing support to the instructional program within the assigned school with specific responsibility for assisting in the supervision and instruction of special needs students; observing and documenting student progress; implementing plans for instruction; and assisting students in small group settings to increase academic skills in ELA and Math. This job reports to the principal.
Minimum requirements: Associate's degree or 60 semester hours of college credit, from an accredited college or university, or a passing score on the Parapro test.
