About the role
Role Overview Performs imaging procedures and treatments aligned with radiology standards to support disease diagnosis and management. Responsible for developing and implementing procedure plans, ensuring optimal technique and positioning for accurate results, and maintaining equipment and workspaces for safety and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of radiologic principles and applies appropriate techniques and positioning.
- Creates and executes treatment plans following hospital protocols and guidelines.
- Completes documentation in compliance with policies.
- Maintains equipment and work areas in a safe, neat condition.
- Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold patient care standards.
- Achieves assigned goals efficiently.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 6 months experience in the specialty area.
- Registered with ARRT in Radiography (R), with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days.
- Basic computer literacy skills required; ARRT(VI) registration preferred.
- Licenses as required by state.
- New graduates must obtain ARRT registration within 60 days.
