Job Summary Performs imaging procedures and treatments in accordance with radiology standards to support diagnosis and therapy. Handles additional duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Applies radiologic principles, selecting appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
- Develops and implements procedure and treatment plans following hospital protocols.
- Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies.
- Maintains equipment and work areas in a safe, organized manner.
- Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold quality standards.
- Achieves assigned goals effectively.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months experience in the specialty area, meeting CT competencies.
- Registered with ARRT in Radiography; CT registration preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days.
- Basic computer skills required; state licensure as applicable.
