SKILLS REQUIRED

Primary (Must-Have):

✔️7 to 9 years of experience as a Techno-Functional Business Analyst on data-driven enterprise projects

✔️Hands-on technical proficiency with IBM InfoSphere DataStage ETL design and implementation

✔️Advanced expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, complex query writing, stored procedures, and performance tuning

✔️Proficiency with Unix shell scripting for data job execution and environment navigation

✔️End-to-end data mapping, transformation rules definition, gap analysis, and agile user story creation

Secondary (Good to Have):

✔️Design and execution of detailed test scenarios for data integration and downstream analytics

✔️Experience monitoring production ETL data jobs, identifying root causes, and resolving operational defects

✔️Creation of end-to-end process flow diagrams, data dictionaries, and traceability documentation

✔️Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks in hybrid enterprise environments

✔️Strong stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and technical communication skills\

POSITION OVERVIEW

✔️We are seeking a Senior Techno-Functional Business Analyst for a hybrid engagement based out of Dallas, TX.

✔️The role sits at the intersection of business analysis and enterprise data engineering, translating business needs into robust DataStage and PL/SQL solutions.

✔️The incumbent will collaborate with product owners, data engineers, and operational stakeholders to design scalable, high-performance data workflows.

✔️Candidates must possess 7 to 9 years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL, IBM InfoSphere DataStage, and Unix to validate and optimize database objects.

✔️This position requires driving data quality, gap analyses, automated workflows, and production support across complex enterprise data environments.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

✔️Analyze business requirements to define functional specifications, data mapping, and transformation rules for DataStage and Oracle PL/SQL implementation

✔️Collaborate with product owners and data engineers to refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and scalable data pipeline architectures

✔️Review and validate database objects (procedures, packages, scripts) and execute test scenarios for seamless ETL data integration

✔️Document end-to-end business workflows, data flows, and system interactions while conducting gap analyses to optimize business processes

✔️Monitor production data jobs, troubleshoot performance issues, and support smooth deployment releases in a hybrid team setting
