About the role
Manipal Hospitals is seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our healthcare team. The Radiology Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, under the supervision of radiologists. The successful candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality patient care while ensuring the safe and efficient use of radiological equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Operate radiological equipment and ensure optimal image quality.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Certification from a recognized radiologic technology board (e.g., ARRT, NMTCB).
- Proven experience as a radiology technician in a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of radiological procedures and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Tools and Equipment:
- X-ray machines and imaging equipment.
- CT scanners and MRI machines.
- Computer systems for patient record management and imaging software.
- Safety equipment such as lead aprons and shields.
- Imaging processing and archiving systems.
