What You'll Do:

L2 (Journeyman)
- Installs and repairs resilient floor coverings, carpeting, rubber base and associated trim, and acoustical ceiling tile
- Determines appropriate mastic and floor material.
- Heat welds various resilient floor coverings.
- Operates power equipment.
- Loads and unloads floor materials at district warehouse
- Prepares and creates layouts, sketches and drawings.
- Performs demolition work on existing materials prior to new installation.
- Evaluates repairs; modifies and performs repairs using blueprints; and considering building codes and standards.
- Performs work and cross trains in at least one other trade as an apprentice.
- Assists with snow removal efforts on a 24 hour on-call basis.
- Responds to emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Prepares and cleans up job site taking into consideration safety concerns of self and others, and disposes of waste and flammable materials.
- Perform other duties, as requested.
What You’ll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Two to ten years experience and training; minimum as follows L2: Four (4) years experience
- Must have and maintain a valid Colorado Driver's License and meet District insurability standards.

- Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
- Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position.
