About the role

Responsibilities:

  • 4-10 years of experience as a technical writer, preferably in medical devices or similar industry
  • Experience creating service, maintenance, and repair documentation for medical equipment or similar safety critical products
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders (Supplier Engineering, R&D, Quality, Procurement & Others as required) to create and/or update documentation.
  • Carry out document verification in the lab and correct / update the impacted service documents
  • Provide ongoing visibility on progress, risks, and dependencies as planned.
  • Highlight / escalate risks, delays, lab/system unavailability or other roadblocks for timely decision-making and support

Skills:

  • Knowledge of field‑service workflows, corrective/preventive maintenance methodologies, and device diagnostics
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, device interfaces, and SOPs
  • Work with service engineers, field technicians, and customer‑service teams to address documentation gaps and integrate real‑world feedback
  • Update service documentation as design changes occur, ensuring accuracy for all released device versions
  • Knowledge of tools like SCHEMA ST4, Paligo, Adobe
