Duration: 12 months , Full-Time
Shifts : 8am-5pm M-F
Job Description:
- A day in the life of a technical writer includes crafting, editing, revising, and publishing technical product information similar to datasheets, specifications, design guides, application notes and user manuals.
Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibilities include analyzing and interpreting data to determine appropriate syntax, presentation style, voice and grammatical usage.
- Technical writers are also responsible for scheduling reviews, recording approval, and maintaining information architecture metadata.
- This position is an integral part of product development and customer support teams.
- Success in this position requires to ability to work closely with engineering, field-sales, and factory teams from around the world to identify gaps in existing content and propose solutions that enhance the value and accuracy of product documentation.
- The candidate must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent writing skills combined with a technical background. Degreed engineers with excellent English skills and experience developing and maintaining documentation for factory processes or product support are encouraged to apply.
Experience:
- Min. 5 years' experience as a technical writer comfortable with planning, schedule negotiation, task management, publication, and post-release updates.
- Min. 5 years' experience of industry-standard authoring tools such as Microsoft* Office, DITA XML, and the Adobe* family of products, including FrameMaker.

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Technical Communications or a related liberal arts program.
- Candidates with a background in Engineering or Computer Science may be considered as well.
