About This Role

This role involves managing technical projects across analytics, data engineering, software engineering, and product development. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for project plans, sprint execution, timelines, dependencies, risks, blockers, and overall delivery, working closely with Product Owners and Technical Leads.

Responsibilities

Own project plans, sprint execution, timelines, dependencies, risks, blockers, and overall delivery
Partner closely with the Product Owner and Technical Lead
Run Agile ceremonies and maintain organization within Jira and Confluence
Ensure requirements and stories are ready before engineers begin development
Coordinate across multiple engineering and data teams
Track whether projects and sprint commitments are on track, at risk, or blocked
Communicate delivery status, risks, and changes to leadership
Help coordinate production releases and deployments
Use delivery metrics to improve planning and predictability

Requirements

7+ years of Project Management experience
Open to candidates outside of banking
Experience in a fast-paced, complex environment with many stakeholders
Strong communication and people skills
Clear, concise, persuasive communicator
Able to give concrete examples of working effectively with a team
Stable job history, rather than frequent job changes
Strong understanding of the technical/software development lifecycle
Has worked directly with developers/software engineers
Experience with sprint refinement
Technical project/delivery experience in Agile environments
Strong Agile/Scrum background
Excellent Jira and Confluence experience
Experience managing backlogs, sprints, roadmaps, risks, and dependencies
Strong stakeholder management
Experience coordinating multiple technical work streams
Technical enough to understand engineering conversations, but does not need to be the person making technical architecture decisions
