About the role

Harvey Nash USA is seeking a motivated Technical Program Manager I supporting
supporting hardware products, field quality, and cross-functional engineering initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, driving quality improvements, managing multiple stakeholders, and translating technical concepts into clear communication for both technical and non-technical audiences.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while balancing technical constraints, business priorities, and customer impact.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end technical programs focused on hardware product quality and safety initiatives.
  • Coordinate with engineering, quality, operations, and product teams to deliver complex cross-functional programs.
  • Drive field quality investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action initiatives.
  • Monitor program milestones, SLAs, risks, and escalations to ensure timely delivery.
  • Develop and maintain risk management frameworks before and after product launches.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate product quality and safety risks.
  • Track program metrics and continuously improve operational processes and issue resolution timelines.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and executive-ready written communications.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise information for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication across global and cross-functional teams.

Must-Have Skills

  • 2–3 years of Technical Program Management experience (1–2 years may also be considered).
  • Experience working with hardware products or hardware development environments.
  • Strong program management experience, including managing timelines, risks, dependencies, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Coding or automation experience.
  • Background in Quality Engineering or Product Quality.
  • Experience analyzing data and using data to drive decisions.
  • Experience with field quality investigations or root cause analysis.
  • PMP certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus but not required.
