Responsibilities
Position Purpose:
The Technical Product Manager for the Market Intelligence & Analytics Data Platform is responsible for defining and driving platform capabilities that support data-driven insights across the trading platform. This role focuses on enabling timely, reliable, and actionable market intelligence, analytics, reporting, and decision support for trading, risk, operations, and business teams.
The role partners closely with engineering, analytics, market data, architecture, security, compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure data products and platform services are scalable, trusted, secure, and aligned with trading platform priorities.
Primary duties will include:
- Own the product roadmap, backlog, and prioritization for market intelligence and analytics data capabilities.
- Translate trading, market data, risk, and business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Partner with engineering teams to deliver capabilities for market data ingestion, normalization, enrichment, analytics, reporting, observability, lineage, and self-service access.
- Support analytics use cases across trading performance, client activity, market trends, liquidity, pricing, risk signals, and operational insights.
- Define success metrics for platform adoption, data quality, timeliness, reliability, performance, cost efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Coordinate across data producers, data consumers, and platform teams to improve discoverability, usability, and trust in market and trading data assets.
- Ensure governance, entitlement, security, privacy, and compliance requirements are embedded into platform workflows.
- Communicate roadmap status, trade-offs, dependencies, and delivery risks to stakeholders.
- Evaluate internal needs and external data or technology solutions to inform platform investment decisions.
Qualifications
To Land this role you will need:
- Experience in technical product management, data platforms, analytics, trading technology, market data, or enterprise technology.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, including data pipelines, APIs, ETL/ELT, data lakes, warehouses, and cloud-based platforms.
- Familiarity with trading platforms, market data, analytics, risk, pricing, or financial markets preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with engineering teams, data teams, and business stakeholders.
- Strong backlog management, prioritization, and delivery execution skills.
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in business and trading context.
- Familiarity with data governance, metadata, lineage, observability, access control, entitlement, or data quality practices preferred.
