About the role
Our client, a leading autonomous vehicle technology company, is seeking a Technical Operations Trainer to join their team. As a Technical Operations Trainer , you will be part of the Mission Control department supporting Mission Readiness operators, Training Supervisors, Project Managers, and functional managers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and excellent problem-solving abilities, which will align successfully in the organization. Location: Austin, TX, 78741
Pay Range: $33/hr.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11:00 pm to 7:30 am (3rd Shift)
What's the Job?
- Deliver training and coaching to new and experienced operators through classroom facilitation, demonstrations, and hands-on instruction.
- Evaluate operator performance through assessments, audits, and daily feedback reviews to identify training needs.
- Provide constructive feedback and training recommendations to learners, supervisors, and stakeholders.
- Assist with training curriculum improvements and training material updates to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with Training Supervisors and operational leaders to maintain proficiency with standardized operating procedures.
What's Needed?
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in the autonomous vehicle, transportation, or technology industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively train and mentor others.
- Proven problem-solving skills and experience working in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to travel up to 25% and maintain a flexible schedule to support training activities.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening.
