About the role
We are looking for an experienced Java Technical Lead with strong expertise in Java, Cassandra, and NodeJS Fullstack development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a development team, designing scalable applications, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of developers in building scalable enterprise applications.
- Design, develop, and deploy Java-based microservices and backend solutions.
- Work on Cassandra database design, modeling, and query optimization.
- Build and maintain end-to-end fullstack applications with Java backend and NodeJS frontend.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to define technical solutions.
- Drive code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot, optimize performance, and resolve complex production issues.
- Contribute to solution design, system architecture, and technical documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Java / J2EE technologies.
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead in Java development projects.
- Strong expertise in Cassandra database - data modeling, queries, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in NodeJS, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, and Microservices.
- Experience with Spring / Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA frameworks.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and fault tolerance.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
