Key Responsibilities

Lead the technical design and execution for the assigned team/product area.

Own technical direction and architecture decisions from concept through production.

Lead and mentor a team of 3–8 engineers.

Drive best practices in:

Code quality
-
Unit & E2E testing
-
CI/CD
-
Deployment
-
Performance & load testing
-
Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Business teams to shape product roadmaps and technical strategy.
-
Translate business and product requirements into effective technical plans.
-
Understand customer impact, revenue considerations, and business priorities while making technical decisions.
-
Act as the escalation point for complex technical challenges.
-
Mentor engineers and continuously improve engineering practices.
Required Skills & Experience
-
5–7 years of overall software engineering experience.
-
Proven experience owning and delivering significant systems end-to-end.
-
Full-stack development experience is mandatory.

Strong experience in quality engineering, including:

Unit testing
-
E2E testing
-
Performance testing
-
Load testing
-
2+ years of experience in a Tech Lead / Engineering Manager role.
-
Experience managing or leading a team of 3–8 engineers.

Strong fundamentals in:

Data Structures & Algorithms
-
System Design
-
Strong expertise in modern full-stack technologies:

Backend: Node.js / Java / Python
-
Frontend: React / Angular
-
Database: PostgreSQL / MySQL

Architecture: Microservices
-
Cloud: AWS / GCP / Azure
-
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding, debugging, and code reviews.
-
Experience following spec-driven engineering practices.

Strong experience in architecture and technical decision-making.

Proven ability to mentor engineers and improve team practices.
-
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Strong business acumen with the ability to understand product goals, customer impact, and business trade-offs.
Education
- B.Tech/B.E. or M.Tech in Computer Science or a related field.
- Candidates from top-tier institutes such as BITS Pilani, IITs, IIITs, or NITs are strongly preferred
