About the role
Key Responsibilities:

Validation Strategy & Execution
- Define and implement validation strategy (DVP&R) for multiple programs
- Ensure alignment with Customer requirements, Project timelines, Vehicle build plans
- Oversee preparation and approval of DVP plans, Validation schedules, Test reports
- Ensure timely execution of Validation activities across all development phases (DV, PV, etc.)
- Drive risk identification and mitigation plans for validation activities

Program & Delivery Management
- Manage multiple projects/programs simultaneously
- Monitor and control Project timelines, Risks, deviations, and change requests
- Drive timely closure of Validation issues, Field and production-related concerns
- Ensure optimal resource utilization and planning across projects

Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and manage a team of Validation engineers
- Allocate tasks and ensure efficient workload distribution
- Mentor and develop team capabilities (technical & process)
- Set performance goals and drive accountability and ownership
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality focus

Customer Interaction & Stakeholder Management
- Act as Single Point of Contact for validation activities
- Present to customers DVP status, Risks and mitigation plans, Validation reports and readiness
- Handle Customer escalations, Technical discussions and approvals
- Participate in Customer design reviews, Program review meetings, Audit discussions
- Build strong relationships with Customers, Suppliers, Internal cross-functional teams

Process & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Customer standards and requirements & Internal quality systems (e.g., APQP, Aptiv processes)
- Support and lead Internal and external audits
- Drive improvements in Validation processes, Tools and reporting systems
- Ensure proper documentation and traceability of Test reports, Validation evidence
Technical Skills:
- Core Expertise in Wiring harness systems & DVP&R and validation processes (Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, Chemical)
- Validation and testing standards (OEM / ISO)
- Manufacturing processes and assembly methods
