About This Role
This role focuses on bridging business needs with technical solutions to drive impactful data-driven transformations. As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be critical in delivering data management and transformation initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, and ensuring alignment across various teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business and technical requirements
- Translate requirements into user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria for Agile delivery
- Support data-focused initiatives by working closely with data architects and analysts on solution design
- Track project progress, manage backlogs, and coordinate releases using tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Contribute to testing, implementation, and issue resolution to ensure high-quality delivery
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst in Agile environments
- Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement
- Experience with SQL (Oracle, SQL Server; MongoDB is a plus) and data analysis
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and design artifacts
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Nice to have:
- Experience working on data management or data lineage projects
- Familiarity with UAT planning, execution, and documentation
- Experience with process modeling, wireframes, or design documentation
- Experience identifying and managing risks, issues, and dependencies
- Experience working in financial services or consulting environments
