About This Role

This logistics team leader role is about motivating a team, ensuring smooth processes, and tackling challenges directly. You will coach colleagues, ensure operations are ready for daily demands, and continuously improve processes to deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Be a point of contact for the team, ensuring they are well-placed and perform optimally
• Collaborate regularly with fellow Team Leaders on departmental developments
• Gain insight into well-functioning processes and identify bottlenecks, then act on them
• Register colleagues' performance levels and arrange training
• Safeguard workplace safety
• Coach team members, considering their ambitions and development
• Conduct absenteeism/reintegration, appraisal, and performance reviews
• Schedule training hours and maintain time registration and personnel changes

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a supervisor in a (warehouse) logistics environment
• Affinity for systems and strong analytical skills to prepare reports and analyses
• Ability to work with deadlines and achieve results with the team
• Reliable and keeps agreements, so colleagues and employees can depend on you

Important Details

• Schedule: full-time (40 hours)
• Working hours: shift work (06:00-15:00 and 15:00-00:00)
• Shift allowance of 130% after 18:00
• Team: responsible for approximately 20 to 25 Warehouse Operators, reporting to the Shift Manager
