Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders in a timely and professional manner
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately
- Manage food service customer orders, ensuring proper food preparation and timely delivery
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace, including food prep areas and dining spaces
- Handle cash register operations, processing cash, credit card, and digital payments with accuracy
- Operate kitchen equipment safely for food preparation while adhering to food safety standards
- Ensure food handling procedures comply with health regulations to guarantee safe service
- Support food industry best practices by maintaining a clean environment and practicing proper sanitation techniques
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong food industry knowledge
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Solid understanding of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
- Exceptional customer service skills to create positive interactions with guests
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
- Experience with retail sales transactions and cashiering procedures
- Knowledge of food safety management practices including sanitation protocols and proper hygiene standards
- Effective communication skills to work seamlessly within a team environment
