Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Team Members to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Your responsibilities will include food preparation, cashiering, and assisting customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
Duties
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and cash handling
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries
- Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and workstations
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation practices to ensure a safe dining environment
- Assist with bussing tables and restocking supplies as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
Skills
- Experience in food preparation and handling within a quick service or fast food restaurant setting
- Proficiency with POS systems (Aloha or Micros) for efficient transaction processing
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests positively
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
- Previous experience in the culinary field or restaurant industry is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated
