About the Role

TeamLease is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Team Lead – Recruitment to manage the recruitment operations for the Asian Paints account. The Team Lead will be stationed at the client location and will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 6–7 Pan India Recruiters, ensuring timely closure of recruitment requirements and maintaining strong day-to-day coordination with the client.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in team handling, client management, recruitment operations, stakeholder coordination, and target achievement.

  • Manage and guide a team of 6–7 Pan India Recruiters handling recruitment for the Asian Paints account.
  • Be stationed at the Asian Paints client location and act as the primary recruitment SPOC for day-to-day coordination.
  • Understand client requirements and ensure timely allocation and execution of vacancies across locations.
  • Conduct daily calls with the recruitment team to review progress, challenges, closures, and targets.
  • Set clear recruitment targets for the team and ensure 100% target achievement within defined timelines.
  • Monitor recruiter performance, productivity, sourcing activity, interview scheduling, and closures.
  • Maintain regular daily communication and coordination with the client regarding recruitment status and requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain daily/weekly recruitment dashboards and MIS reports.
  • Track open positions, sourcing, screening, interviews, selections, offers, and joining status.
  • Follow up with the client and internal stakeholders for candidate feedback and ensure timely closure of interview processes.
  • Coordinate the complete recruitment lifecycle from requirement understanding and sourcing to selection and joining.
  • Ensure proper joining follow-up and documentation completion.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for sourcing fee / invoice-related processes and ensure timely invoice raising after joining, as applicable.
  • Identify recruitment bottlenecks and take corrective actions to improve TAT and closure ratios.
  • Handle escalations related to candidates, recruiters, interview processes, and client requirements.
  • Build and maintain a strong professional relationship with the client and ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Support Campus Hiring whenever required.
  • Visit colleges, institutes, and campuses for recruitment drives and institute engagement.
  • Participate in bulk hiring drives, walk-ins, and other recruitment initiatives as required.
  • Ensure compliance with TeamLease and client recruitment processes and policies.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong Team Handling and People Management skills.
  • Proven experience in Client Handling / Client Management.
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end recruitment processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Strong follow-up and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requirements and locations simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare and understand recruitment dashboards/MIS.
  • Target-oriented and result-driven approach.
  • Good problem-solving and escalation-management skills.
  • Ability to work from the client location and manage a fast-paced recruitment environment.
  • Willingness to travel for campus hiring/institute visits whenever required.

Educational Qualification

  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.

4–7 years of relevant experience in recruitment, RPO, staffing, or talent acquisition, with significant experience in:

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on recruitment leader who can independently manage a Pan India recruitment team, communicate confidently with the client, drive daily team performance, and ensure recruitment targets are achieved within agreed timelines.

Strong Team Handling + Client Handling + Recruitment Operations experience is mandatory.
