Job Summary
The Team Lead - Contract Operations will lead a team responsible for managing employment contracts for healthcare professionals supporting US healthcare clients. The role will focus on operational governance, quality assurance, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, people leadership, and continuous process improvement while ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, compliance standards, and operational SLAs.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Manage day-to-day contract operations activities across multiple healthcare staffing programs.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of employment contracts, amendments, extensions, and renewals.
- Establish strong quality controls and governance mechanisms.
- Drive SLA adherence, productivity, and operational excellence.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop Contract Operations Associates.
- Conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions, quality audits, and training interventions.
- Build team capability through continuous learning and development initiatives.
Contract Review & Risk Management
- Review complex contractual scenarios and provide guidance to the team.
- Support decision-making related to contract interpretation, process exceptions, and escalations.
- Identify compliance, billing, contractual, and operational risks and ensure timely resolution.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner closely with Recruiting, Onboarding, Credentialing, Payroll, Compliance, and Client Services teams.
- Act as the primary escalation point for contract-related concerns.
- Present operational metrics and updates to leadership teams.
Reporting & Process Improvement
- Analyze operational trends and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Drive automation, standardization, and process optimization initiatives.
- Develop and maintain operational dashboards, reports, and performance scorecards.

- Experience managing exceptions and escalations.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Proven people management experience.
- Strong communication and stakeholder influencing skills.
Advanced Excel & Reporting Skills
Must have expertise in:
- VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- Pivot Tables
- Data Analysis
- Dashboard Creation

- Reporting & Trend Analysis
Qualifications
- Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.
- 5-8 years of experience in Contract Operations, Workforce Management, Recruitment Operations, Healthcare Operations, HR Shared Services, or US Staffing.
- Minimum 2 years of team handling experience.
