About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Teacher Aide to provide administrative and operational support within our school community.

This role has a strong administrative focus and involves assisting with student records, class rolls, resource management, document preparation, data entry, excursions, and general support for teaching staff. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to work collaboratively while contributing to a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.37FTE), 28 hours per fortnight.

This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.

Your opportunity:

As the Teacher Aide, your responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Assisting teachers and students with sporting activities and with school excursions.
  • Assisting with the management and stocktaking of equipment and resources.
  • Communicating effectively and displaying high level of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member.
  • Maintaining anecdotal records on students for use in reviewing student's development.
  • Displaying respect and empathy for students with high level needs.
  • Displaying confidentiality, tact, reliability and sensitively to students and their families.
