The System Testing and Commissioning Leader is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating all activities required for the safe execution of subsystem integration testing and overall transportation system testing, both in the factory and on-site.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Planning and controlling prerequisites for integration and system testing:

    • Ensuring the consolidation, completeness, quality, and finalization of the design, including system engineering (system-wide specifications) and subsystem engineering, as well as system architecture and interfaces.
    • Ensuring the completion, quality, and documentation of assemblies performed in the factory and on-site, as well as the construction and installation of subsystems.
    • Overseeing the software delivery of subsystems and ensuring their functional consistency with hardware integration at the factory, on test platforms, and on-site.
  • Planning, controlling, and leading the processes for integration testing and system-level testing:

  • Implementing the geographic integration strategy, progressively by test zones along the railway transport line.

  • Preparing the integration test schedule.

  • Preparing the testing documentation for infrastructure subsystems and station subsystems (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing - MEP), including integration and test plans, test lists and programs, test schedules, test procedures, and test reports.

  • Ensuring the safe execution of integration testing and proper documentation of test results.

  • Follow-up of integration activities of partners and subcontractors in charge of critical subsystem integration testing, particularly railway signaling systems and centralized control systems.

  • Ensuring the safe execution of system-level transport tests and proper documentation of the test results.

  • Managing the handling of anomalies and outstanding issues (snagging and punch lists).

Qualifications/Experience required

  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

    Experience:

    5+ years of experience in metro projects leading group of workers and labours.

    Experienced with Electrical work.

    Flexible and open minded to adapt smooth processes to existing organization.

    Proactive client Relationship.

    Knowledgeable of Occupational health and Safety codes.

    Language Requirements:

    Arabic & English is a must, French is a plus.
