This role is for a Tax Supervisor or Tax Manager at a small, established CPA firm in Albany. The position involves managing tax and accounting assignments, preparing financial statements, and working directly with clients and partners. Responsibilities

• Manage tax and accounting assignments from start to finish
• Prepare and review individual, partnership, and nonprofit tax returns
• Prepare financial statements and work with clients’ accounting records
• Support tax planning and build lasting client relationships
• Work directly with partners, with scope to take responsibility for your own clients

Requirements

• Public accounting experience across tax and financial statement preparation
• Confidence handling assignments independently and working directly with clients
• Practical accounting knowledge and experience using QuickBooks
• A collaborative approach and willingness to get involved
