Responsibilities

• Prepare and file federal and state tax returns
• Review client tax documents for accuracy and completeness
• Enter and verify income, deductions, credits, and other tax information
• Identify applicable tax deductions and credits
• Communicate with clients regarding missing or additional information
• Answer general tax preparation questions
• Review returns for accuracy before filing
• Maintain client confidentiality and protect sensitive financial information
• Stay informed about current tax laws and filing requirements
• Provide professional and friendly service to every client

Requirements

• Previous tax preparation experience preferred
• Bilingual preferred
• Knowledge of federal and state tax requirements
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable working with numbers and computer software
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
