About the role
Position Overview
This position is responsible for the management and supervision of the group’s tax operations, closely collaborating with management. The main tasks include reviewing tax cases, conducting assessments (knowledge operations), and business planning (establishing and operating internal procedures), contributing to the overall quality improvement of the group’s tax functions. The individual in this position will primarily handle the following Knowledge Operations:
- Review and assess tax cases
- Respond to inquiries and consultations regarding tax matters from department members
- Disseminate tax information (writing newsletters for internal and external audiences, internal announcements, and articles for tax magazines)
- Support tax audits (providing advice to department members and collaborating on case handling)
- Plan and conduct internal training and education
- Review tax returns prepared by department members
- Draft opinions
- Create and update various checklists
- Provide compliance education in tax operations
Internal Procedure Establishment and Operation
- Plan and operate the internal portal site (intranet)
- Develop tools such as templates
- Promote DX (Digital Transformation) in database management
- Manage tax audit processes (report management and database accumulation)
- Plan and operate initiatives aimed at improving the work environment
- Manage accounting and tax return software

Working Hours
Full flextime system (standard working hours: 8 hours)
Holidays and Leave
Paid leave, complete two-day weekends (Saturday and Sunday), public holidays, condolence leave, year-end and New Year holidays, anniversary leave, long-service leave
Salary
5,000,000 - 7,500,000 JPY / year
