Tax Manager, Senior Tax Manager

About This Role

This full-time, on-site role involves overseeing tax compliance and preparation engagements, ensuring accurate and timely filings for diverse clients. The individual will manage tax planning projects, review work from junior team members, and interpret tax law to advise clients on complex transactions and risk mitigation. The role also includes collaborating with engagement teams, communicating directly with clients, and contributing to business development.

Requirements

• Strong tax compliance and tax preparation skills, with experience managing multiple filing deadlines and complex engagements
• Strong expertise in Corporate Tax and ASC 740
• Expertise in tax planning and tax law, with the ability to interpret regulations and provide strategic guidance to clients
• Broad understanding of tax concepts and principles, including tax research and application of tax guidance to real-world scenarios
• Relevant professional credentials such as CPA, EA, or JD
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Prior experience in public accounting or a similar professional services environment, ideally in a managerial or senior-level tax role
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize competing demands
• Clear and professional communication skills, including the ability to explain complex tax matters to clients and mentor team members
• Demonstrated commitment to ethics, continuous learning, and collaboration in a diverse, inclusive workplace
