Tax Analyst

This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, helping businesses navigate complex indirect tax regulations while developing specialized tax consulting and compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review sales and use tax returns for clients across multiple jurisdictions
• Research state and local tax regulations and provide practical recommendations
• Assist with sales and use tax audits, notices, and refund opportunities
• Analyze financial data, invoices, and transactions to identify tax exposures and savings opportunities
• Support nexus studies, taxability determinations, voluntary disclosures, and registration projects
• Collaborate with clients and internal team members to ensure compliance with changing tax laws
• Prepare reports, workpapers, and client deliverables with accuracy and attention to detail

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field
• 1+ years of experience in sales and use tax, indirect tax
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and client service abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/tax software

Nice to have:

• CPA, CPA-track, or SALT experience is a plus
