Tax Analyst

About This Role

Working on various global tax and accounting processes is the core of this role within the GSS team. The Tax Analyst supports and prepares US Federal and State Income Tax Returns and their underlying workpapers, with guidance from the local team and the US Corporate Tax group, and may also support other jurisdictions as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support and/or perform the tax payment process
• Work on Business license filings
• Support and/or perform account reconciliations for tax-related general ledger accounts
• Assist with state audits, including preparing documentation, responding to notices and desk audits, and tracking audit status
• Partner with the US team and support the ASC 740 process (income tax provision)
• Comply with Sarbanes-Oxley 404 documentation requirements
• Assist in internal budget and cash reporting process

Requirements

• Bachelor

's degree in accounting, Finance or other business-related fields

• 3-5 years of accounting firm and/or Corporate Tax experience, Big 4 preferred
• Computer literate with exceptional knowledge of Microsoft suite (Excel and Word) and adept at learning financial and tax reporting systems
• Exceptional analytical skills and communication skills
• Highly motivated, organized and team oriented
• Advanced English required

Nice to have:

• MBA, MST and/or CPA preferred
• US Federal Income Tax Experience
• CORPTax experience
