Tax Accountant

About This Role

This role involves preparing and reviewing various tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and identifying planning opportunities for clients. The Tax Accountant will also collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve tax matters and support audits, while mentoring junior staff in a public accounting environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Conduct tax research
• Identify planning opportunities
• Develop strategies to minimize tax liabilities for clients
