Talent Sourcer / Talent Researcher

About This Role

The Talent Sourcer / Talent Researcher will focus on senior and C-suite appointments for a global media group, working directly with the Head of Talent Acquisition. This role combines talent sourcing, talent research, people analytics, and talent intelligence, with a proactive approach to market intelligence and talent mapping to build internal talent pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert on the talent landscape, monitoring industry trends, competitor news, and M&A activity to anticipate talent movement
• Map competitor organisations and adjacent industries, breaking down team structures and identifying key people within target departments
• Build long lists for niche and critical roles, with a diverse pool of
• Examine how competitors are structured, where senior talent is moving and why, and give the TA team and business leaders insight they can act on
• Find passive talent beyond job boards through social platforms, networking and advanced Boolean techniques
• Target roles previously outsourced to agencies and show the return on bringing headhunting capability in-house

Requirements

• Experience across talent sourcing, talent research, people analytics and talent intelligence, ideally from an executive search firm or an internal talent function
• Expertise in talent mapping and market mapping
• Advanced use of LinkedIn Recruiter and market intelligence tools
• Ability to turn complex data and organisation charts into simple, visual reports for stakeholders
• An interest in headhunting and engaging passive senior talent
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with ideas to improve research and sourcing
• Strong communication, internally and with external talent
• Experience of Greenhouse and Workday is desirable
