About the role

Description Who We Are Join White Lodging — a hospitality company developing and operating award-winning, premium-brand hotels, rooftop bars, and restaurants in top U.S. cities. We know that the hospitality business, like life, is about how you make people feel. With a growing portfolio of premium brands across the country's best markets, White Lodging offers a dynamic environment where talent thrives and careers are built.

We are seeking a Full Time Talent Development Manager to own the end-to-end delivery of White Lodging's instructor-led, in-market leadership development programs across our hotel portfolio. In this highly visible learning and development role, you will facilitate Flight School — our three-day cultural and leadership immersion experience for newly hired and newly promoted managers — manage complex program logistics, and serve as the primary point of contact for the White Lodging Career Journey program. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in talent development, learning and development, or training coordination, with confident facilitation skills, strong event management capabilities, and a passion for developing hospitality leaders. If you are looking for talent development manager or learning and development jobs in hospitality with a growth-oriented hotel management company, this is your next move with White Lodging.

What You'll Do Program Planning and Event Logistics

  • Manage the full lifecycle of in-market, instructor-led leadership development programs — from initial planning through post-event close-out — including scheduling guest speakers, securing hotel meeting space, confirming BEOs, coordinating participant travel, and reviewing post-event invoices for accuracy
  • Partner proactively with participants, hotel partners, and property leaders throughout each program to confirm expectations are met and continuously improve the experience based on evaluation data
  • Monitor program-related spend against projected costs, flagging variances to leadership in a timely manner, and explore AI-enabled tools to strengthen logistics, evaluation analysis, and reporting efficiency

Program Facilitation

  • Facilitate Flight School, our foundational three-day cultural and leadership immersion program for all newly hired or newly promoted managers, delivering a consistent, high-energy experience that reflects White Lodging's history, values, and leadership expectations
  • Partner with the Talent Development team to keep facilitation content current, gather and act on participant feedback, and bring innovative thinking — including AI-enabled tools — to continuously refine program design and delivery

Career Journey Program Ownership

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Career Journey, White Lodging's organization-wide career pathing program — maintaining materials, promoting the program across properties, and coaching associates and leaders on building meaningful individual development plans
  • Recruit and support a network of Career Journey Champions and coordinate with Communications, Marketing, and Corporate HR to keep all program materials, videos, and facilitation guides current and aligned

Skills What You'll Bring

  • Confident, engaging facilitation skills with the ability to adapt style and pace to a room of new managers; strong interpersonal and coaching skills with the confidence to coach individuals at every level
  • Strong project and event management skills, including direct experience with hotel meeting planning, BEOs, group travel coordination, and vendor invoice review; exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously
  • A collaborative relationship builder who stays current on adult learning and leadership development practices and is comfortable exploring AI-enabled tools to support content design and program logistics
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Learning Management Systems, HRIS, Microsoft Teams, and PowerPoint; experience with an e-learning authoring tool is a plus

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in learning and development, talent development, or training coordination
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Human Resources, Talent Development, Adult Education, or a related field preferred
  • ATD Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) or equivalent credential preferred
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel regularly (up to 40%) to properties across our markets to deliver programs in-market

What You Can Look Forward To

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance benefits — starting day 1
  • Life and disability insurance
  • Paid parental leave
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off (PTO) with rollover
  • Complimentary wellness tools
  • Unlimited employee referral bonuses
  • Leadership development & tuition reimbursement
  • Discounts on hotel rooms, dining, and travel
  • Growth opportunities across multiple hotel properties
