Talent Acquisition Specialist

About This Role

This role is for a versatile and passionate individual to join an innovative recruitment team, working across North America. You will build strong relationships with managers to help staff their teams, focusing on talent acquisition within a growing company.

Responsibilities

• Fill between 100 and 150 positions per year in Ontario and Quebec across various functions, including site coordinators, superintendents, quality inspectors, health and safety advisors, and finance professionals
• Conduct in-depth CV analysis and initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications, cultural fit, and alignment with job requirements
• Collaborate effectively with hiring managers to refine job descriptions and develop targeted recruitment campaigns that attract diverse candidate pools
• Oversee candidate progression through screening, interview, and selection stages, ensuring a smooth and timely hiring process
• Provide an exceptional candidate experience by maintaining clear and respectful communication, offering feedback, and responding promptly to inquiries
• Maintain rigorous records and produce recruitment metrics from the ATS to support data-driven decision-making and continuous process improvement

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of specialized experience in talent acquisition, ideally in the construction or engineering sector, ensuring a good understanding of industry specificities and candidate expectations
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build trust, influence stakeholders, and foster collaborative partnerships within diverse teams
• Demonstrated expertise in negotiating job offers and aligning them
