About This Role
This Systems Analyst role is responsible for providing specialized advice on systems analysis applications, strategically bridging business teams and IT, and carrying out analyses in response to user requests. The role ensures regular reviews and maintenance of existing systems, leveraging expertise as a certified Salesforce Administrator and a skilled Power BI developer. It involves analyzing system workflows, designing impactful dashboards, and supporting cross-platform integrations as the technology stack evolves.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized advice to assigned area in the applications of systems analysis to operational and functional problems
- Strategically bridge business teams and IT
- Carry out needed analyses in response to user requests
- Ensure regular reviews and maintenance of existing systems
- Leverage expertise as a certified Salesforce Administrator and a skilled Power BI developer within all entities of the business
- Analyze system workflows, design impactful dashboards, and support cross-platform integrations as our technology stack evolves
- Oversee the development of user documentation for new systems or changes to existing systems
- Contribute towards SDI Strategic Priorities
- Conduct work in a safe manner, adhering to quality compliance requirements and demonstrating a strong commitment to SDI's values of passion, accountability, respect, teamwork, and innovation
- Handle day-to-day administration of the Salesforce platform, including user management, roles, profiles, permission sets, and security sharing rules
- Build and maintain custom objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, and automated workflows using Salesforce Flows
- Perform regular data audits, deduplications, and mass data loads via Data Loader to ensure high-quality CRM data
- Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that translate complex datasets into actionable business insights
- Connect to disparate data sources (including Salesforce), clean data transformations, and write robust Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) queries for custom metrics
- Train business stakeholders on how to navigate reports and leverage self-service analytics
- Gather requirements from cross-functional teams to design technical solutions that align with business goals
- Actively participate in training programs to master SAP modules (e.g., SAP ERP, S/4HANA) to support future integration projects
- Assist to map out data pipelines and integrations between Salesforce, Power BI, and upcoming ERP platforms like SAP
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
