About This Role
This engineering role focuses on ensuring the quality and stability of NVIDIA's networking products through the development of efficient production tests. It involves understanding both hardware and software to enable high availability and ensure product quality for customers. The position suits an excellent software engineer who will lead product development and elevate software development quality within the group.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated tests for networking switches and adapters, collaborating closely with HW, ASIC, and SW Engineering teams to achieve reliable tests with high coverage
- Be exposed to various aspects of design, DFT, and testing of NVIDIA's next-generation network products
- Take a significant part in defining and developing tests from the development level to the final test of network systems
- Utilize test suites to find, debug, and resolve problems with the production process
- Drive projects to full execution on time and work under pressure in a schedule and multi-project environment
- Support and fix bugs in existing code
- Support production lines for deployments, patches, and maintenance
- Perform test verification and validation (both HW and SW)
- Troubleshoot and streamline/optimize testing procedures
Requirements
- BSc/MSc or equivalent engineering degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of related experience in software development and design
- 3+ years of proven experience in Python or a similar platform
- Excellent knowledge of a version control system (preferably GIT)
- Linux based development
- Experience with Software/Hardware products integration
- Excellent communication skills with hands-on experience collaborating with global teams
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams

- Familiarity with product manufacturing flows and processes
- A highly motivated team player who always stays up to date with new technologies and test methodologies
- Exposure and knowledge around application development, configuration management, and automation
- Experience in tools/services development
- Creativity to find solutions for challenging requirements
- Strong leadership skills to drive a project from definition through mass production
