About the role
The System Engineer role, based at Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park, supports customers by planning, implementing, and maintaining reliable Information Technology (IT) infrastructure solutions. The position combines project coordination, equipment configuration, server room operations, troubleshooting, and on-site technical support to ensure stable infrastructure performance.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer requirements and propose appropriate IT infrastructure solutions
- Manage IT infrastructure projects from solution planning through implementation
- Select suitable IT equipment based on proposed solutions, then install and configure the equipment on site
- Provide regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and on-site technical support to ensure stable IT infrastructure operations
- Respond to customer enquiries and resolve technical issues on site
- Operate and manage the server room, including asset management and related operations
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, including personal computers, systems, networks, and servers
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role
- Hands-on experience configuring personal computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi access points
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or similar cloud services
- Good English communication skills
- Team-oriented and flexible approach
- Ability to comply with company security policies, internal rules, and operational standards
- Familiarity with business etiquette in Japanese corporate environments is preferred
