About the role
We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join the Naval Systems Division within the Missile & Space Systems Group at Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).
The position includes:
• Defining and writing system requirements specifications for engineering teams and subcontractors
• Reviewing and approving engineering design documentation
• Defining and managing interceptor-to-system interfaces
• Participating in IPTs (Integrated Product Teams) for the interceptor and overall system
• Participating in design reviews, system integration activities, and system-level testing
• Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external partners throughout the development lifecycle
• Supporting the development and integration of advanced missile and naval defense systems
What we’re looking for:
• B.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering – Mandatory
• M.Sc. in Engineering – Advantage
• At least 5 years of experience developing multidisciplinary systems – Mandatory
• Knowledge of missile systems and launch systems – Mandatory
• Proven experience in Systems Engineering – Mandatory
• Strong Hebrew and English skills, both written and spoken – Mandatory
• Knowledge and experience in environmental requirements, qualification conditions, and test methodologies – Mandatory
• Strong systems thinking and ability to work effectively across multiple engineering disciplines
