About This Role
This role is for a certified and enthusiastic Swimming Instructor at Alpha Swim Club, teaching participants of all ages and skill levels. The instructor will deliver high-quality swimming instruction and promote water safety.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective swimming lessons to participants of varying ages and abilities
- Create and implement lesson plans that align with Alpha Swim Club's curriculum and standards
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all participants
- Offer constructive feedback and guidance to help swimmers improve their skills
- Ensure participants are practicing proper swimming techniques and water safety
- Maintain accurate attendance records and progress reports for each participant
- Adhere to all safety protocols and emergency procedures
Requirements
- National Lifeguard Service certificate
- Swim for Life Instructor certification
- Standard First Aid & CPR-C
- Strong swimming skills and proficiency in various swimming strokes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and the ability to adapt teaching methods to individual needs
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Passion for promoting water safety and a love for teaching others to swim
Nice to have:
- NCCP Swimming certificate
- Previous experience as a swimming instructor
