Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of every student in your class
• Teach swim lessons using our curriculum while adapting to each student's needs, abilities, and comfort level
• Encourage and celebrate student progress while building water confidence
• Create a fun, positive, and welcoming environment during every shift
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and fellow team members
• Complete required training and actively seek feedback and growth opportunities
• Be a dependable team player who supports fellow instructors and the overall success of the pool deck

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain focused and engaged in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in the water for periods of up to five hours
