About the role
Overview The Surveillance Operator’s main function is to provide a friendly and safe environment for guests and team members while protecting company assets.
Responsibilities
- Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees
- Exercise good judgment in solving problems and resolution of guest issues
- Uphold and enforce gaming regulations, company policies, and procedures, as well as all Federal and State laws and regulations
- Read, interpret, and analyze security reports and other company documents daily
- Based on location, may be required to conduct investigations into a variety of internal and external incidents and create detailed reports to reflect findings
- Monitor incidents resulting in loss and investigate to determine the source of the loss
- Work a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the operation, including nights and weekends when necessary
- Display professional conduct, sound judgment, the highest level of professional integrity and a strong work ethic
- Overall surveillance - monitoring of all Casino activities
- Monitoring all games - noting any suspicious activity
- Utilize necessary equipment, to identify, record, document and report illegal, suspicious or unusual activities occurring on property
Qualifications
- Preferred experience in one or more of the following fields: Surveillance, Retail loss prevention, Security, Law enforcement, Risk Management.
- Have or are able to obtain any gaming license that may be required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
