Role: Surgical MS/PCU RN
Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based, patient-centered care in a fast-paced surgical and progressive care unit.
- Manage post-operative and high-acuity med-surg patients.
- Perform comprehensive assessments and interpret telemetry data.
- Administer IV medications and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with surgeons, hospitalists, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Educate patients and families about care plans.
- Accurately document patient information in the EHR.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current RN license with relevant experience in surgical or progressive care settings.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical skills.
- Ability to interpret telemetry and administer IV medications proficiently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Detail-oriented with accurate documentation skills.
