Role: Surgical Technician
Responsibilities: Facilitate invasive, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures by handling instruments, supplies, and equipment; ensure sterile field maintenance; verify surgical details; pass instruments to surgeons; anticipate needs; perform counts; prepare and secure dressings; check supplies and set up sterile tables; assist in instrument sterilization and room turnover; perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate Degree or Surgical Technology Certification (required)
- Relevant acute care experience (preferred)
- Certification from National Board or Association of Surgical Technologists (preferred)
- CPR or BLS certification (preferred)
Key Attributes: Attention to detail, sterile technique, teamwork, ability to prepare and handle surgical instruments and supplies, and adherence to safety protocols.
