Surgical Technologist

About This Role

This surgical technologist position involves scrubbing for surgical procedures and maintaining a sterile field as a key member of the surgical team. The role is based in a high-quality, service-oriented atmosphere, focusing on delivering top-tier surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Scrub for surgical procedures
• Demonstrate competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team
• Maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures
• Prepare supplies, instruments, and equipment related to surgical procedures
• Support the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center
• Support and participate in quality improvement activities

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Completion of a Scrub Technician Program
• Certification required
• Two years experience as a Scrub Tech in multiple specialties or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• ENT and Ortho experience preferred
• General familiarity with medical terminology as it pertains to anatomy and surgical procedures for an operating room
