Support and Accounting Management Specialist

About This Role

This specialist role focuses on providing expert support for accounting and financial management, acting as a key point of contact for clients using Pennylane's software. The position is central to the client experience, helping entrepreneurs and their accountants leverage the platform for growth.

Responsibilities

• Continuously train on the product and team operations
• Learn about the company, its vision, and various departments
• Identify stakeholders and collaborate effectively within the team and with different departments
• Respond to accounting-related requests, qualify them based on a deep understanding of accounting principles, and provide quick, impactful answers
• Gain autonomy and fully manage requests, ensuring good follow-up until complete resolution of tickets to guarantee user satisfaction
• Manage increasingly complex client requests
• Contribute to the creation and updating of client support materials to foster their autonomy
• Share accounting knowledge and field experience with colleagues
• Advocate for client needs and usage, providing constructive feedback to product teams
• Become a product expert and improve team efficiency by identifying areas for improvement
• Lead successful projects that are personally meaningful and promote professional growth

Requirements

• Accounting qualification (BTS CGO, DCG, BTS assistant de gestion PME-PMI, Master CCA or Bachelor Responsable admin et comptable)
• At least 3 years of experience in an accounting firm (ideally having completed at least three fiscal periods)
• Direct work with business leaders is a plus (e.g., internal consulting)
• Interest in innovative work tools and new technologies
• Autonomy, ability to solve problems independently and find solutions
• Knowledge of the Pennylane tool is a plus
• Professional level in English
• Strong writing skills and pedagogical approach to interact with users clearly and professionally
• Ability to understand and respond to client needs, offer excellent service, and maintain good client relationships
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Flexibility to adapt to rapid changes in the tool
• Willingness to learn and stay updated on product developments
• Speak English (level assessed and appreciated based on the department you are applying to)
• Enjoy working in a constantly changing environment
