- About the Opportunity:
The Supply Chain Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services essential to the organization's operations. This role ensures supplier quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery, contributing directly to the success of project execution and operational excellence within the supply chain.
- Responsibilities:
• Source and procure commodity goods and services from various suppliers.
• Initiate and analyze Requests for Quotations and Proposals.
• Evaluate supplier quality, reliability, and delivery capabilities in partnership with quality teams.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to confirm product and service specifications.
• Identify cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and risk management opportunities through negotiation.
• Issue and manage purchase orders ensuring compliance with laws, company policies, and import/export regulations.
• Monitor supplier performance and enforce sound business practices.
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure proper receipt documentation.
• Review and approve supplier payments.
• Utilize process improvement tools such as Lean Six Sigma to drive quality and efficiency.
- Requirements:
• For Level 2: Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with experience in supply chain management, contracts, project management, or government procurement.
• For Level 3: Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of relevant experience, Master’s degree plus 3 years, or PhD plus 1 year in relevant fields.
• Procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• Ability to obtain Special Program Access.
• Preferred: knowledge of government procurement regulations (FAR/DFARS), experience with SAP or ERP systems, contract management expertise, negotiation skills, and a degree in Business or Supply Chain Management.
- Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Level 2 salary range: $62,700.00 to $94,100.00
• Level 3 salary range: $77,800.00 to $116,800.00
• Eligibility for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonuses, and annual performance bonuses based on contributions and company results.
• Potential long-term incentives for senior positions.
