Responsibilities
- Oversee daily supply chain activities, workflow, and workforce deployment to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Drive inventory accuracy, material availability, and on-time delivery while balancing operational requirements and inventory levels.
- Develop strong supplier relationships, monitor supplier performance, and ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain.
- Work closely with Production, Sales, Finance, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO standards, regulatory requirements, SOPs, safety procedures, and trade/environmental requirements.
- Analyse supply chain data and operational processes to identify improvement opportunities and drive initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
- Manage, coach, and develop the Supply Chain team while promoting cross-training, knowledge sharing, teamwork, and a positive working culture.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures and 5S standards while maintaining a safe, organised, and efficient working environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain operations, with experience in team leadership or supervisory roles.
- Strong hands-on experience in supply chain operations, inventory management, logistics, procurement, and transportation processes.
- Experience in managing and coordinating with suppliers, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Proven experience in compliance and regulatory requirements, including environmental, safety, trade compliance, and ISO-related requirements.
- Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives, with knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies preferred.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, CPSM, or Hazardous Substance Management will be an advantage.
